A little bit about me!

Hello it’s me 😊

I’m Mand, the face behind Mands Melts…🕯️

This is completely out of my comfort zone, but it was suggested to me a couple of weeks back that I should introduce myself🫣

So here I am , here’s a little bit about me, I LOVE candles & smells & have done for as long as I can remember , I’ve always been the one with a candle lit whatever time of day even as a teen & my Mum was always worrying I’d forget to blow them out (I didn’t), which is what, among other reasons eventually led to me starting my own business.

In my past life I’ve worked in education, which was rewarding & kept me on my toes, I was lucky to make some lovely friends along the way ☺️

When I’m passionate about something I put my all in, making sure I keep learning more about it all the time ( bit of a geek) 🙃

I’m a family person (6 & 1/2 of us plus partners) , I’m v proud of mine & love them all v much, making sure I show it through baking , cooking, nagging 😉 & just being there. I’ve also passed my love of candles & beautiful scents onto them.

I’m a big animal lover & an owner of the most handsome, cutest dog alive (may be biased) 🐶

Baking has always been my go to for quietening my head when it gets busy, but now I have being a chandler as a job & candle making is amazing for just that , calming, silencing & giving me time to zone out.
